Check PMAY Application Status Uttar Pradesh Suda UP

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched in 2015 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a vision to provide affordable housing to the Economically Weaker Section of the Society, Low Income Group (LIG), and Mid Income Group (MIG).

This scheme seeks to address the housing problem through the following broad programs:

  • Slum rehabilitation
  • Provision of Credit linked subsidy for the weaker section
  • Provision of affordable housing by collaborating with public and private sectors
  • Beneficiary – led house construction or enhancement

This scheme has been adopted by the Uttar Pradesh government who is further offering the scheme to the people of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Uttar Pradesh government is offering online application for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) to make it convenient and time saving for people through http://sudaup.org/

Application Status of PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana)

Once applied it is important to keep a track of your application status which you can do from the comfort of your home also, as UP government provides online facility to check the status of your application online.

Procedure to check the status of your application is either you can track the assessment form by clicking on the “By Name, Father’s Name”, and “ID Type” or by clicking on “By Assessment ID”.

  • If you click on “By Name, Father’s Name”, it will direct you to page where you will have to provide State Name, City Name, District Name, Father’s Name, Name, ID Type (Aadhaar or Other ID), Mobile Number and submit the form.

  • Or You can also select the other option which is “By Assessment ID” and by clicking on this option you will have to fill Assessment ID and Mobile Number and submit the form in order to check the status of your PMAY application.

Also, please note that UP government have extended the last dates for online application to 31st October.  And the last date to submit the offline application was 15th October, which is over. Hence, the interested candidates can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) only through online procedure.

Some highlights of the scheme

Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana aims to provide affordable housing solutions for economically weaker sections of the society.

Objective – The objective of the scheme is to provide affordable housing for all.

Target group – This scheme is aimed at people who belong to the economically weaker sections of society and low income groups

Subsidy range – Between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 2.30 lakh

  • People those who are of 70 years of age or lesser than that are eligible to avail this scheme
  • Also people from economically weaker section with less than 3 lakh of income yearly and people from lower income groups with the yearly income between Rs. 3 to Rs. 6 lakh.

CLSS – Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme under PMAY

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25th June 2015. This initiative has been taken in order to provide housing for all by 2022.

The scheme is conducting following programs for addressing the

Housing problem:

  • Slum rehabilitation
  • Provision of Credit – linked subsidy for the weaker section
  • Provision of affordable housing  by collaborating with public and private sectors
  • Beneficiary- led house construction or enhancement

The aim of the program is to provide a home to nearly 20 million people belonging to the low income families and underprivileged sections in the identified urban and semi – urban areas by 2022.

Another interest subsidy scheme was launched in the same year called Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) – Housing for All for purchase, construction, extension, improvement of house to cater economically weaker section (EWS) or Lower Income Group (LIG) having an income up to Rs.3 lakh, and Low Income Families earning up to Rs.6 lakh only.

Eligibility Criteria for Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS)

Following are the list of eligibility criteria for CLSS:

  • A family comprises husband, wife and children
  • None of the family members should have a pucca house registered under their name.
  • Families from Economically Weaker Section (EWS) having an income up to Rs. 3 Lakh are eligible
  • Low Income Families earning up to Rs.6 lakh only are also eligible for this scheme.
  • The registration application should be in the name of the male or female head of the family applying for the subsidy
  • This caters only to families looking only to buy a house and not renovate it.

Benefits of the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme

Below is the list of the benefits of Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme:

  • First time home buyers will get a subsidy benefit of 6.5% for a tenure of 15 years.
  • The subsidy is paid upfront to the bank when availing the loan.

Highlights of the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme

  • Beneficiaries for Mid Income Group (MIG) category are required to provide Aadhaar numbers.
  • The interest subsidy schemes will be available for the tenure of 20 years
  • The interest subsidy is paid upfront to the bank resulting in reduced effective housing loan and Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI).
  • The Net Present Value (NPV) of the interest subsidy will be calculated at a discount rate of 9 %.
  • At present, the carpet area of MIG I is 90 sq m i.e. 968.752 sq ft which will be increased to 120 sq m i.e. 1291.668 sq ft. And for MIG II category the carpet area would be 150 sq m i.e. 1614.585 sq ft instead of 110 sq mt 1184.03 sq ft. And these changes will be implemented from January 1st

What is the objective of the scheme?

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the low income group category i.e. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) for purchasing/construction of residential units under affordable housing scheme

What is the maximum loan amount that can be availed under the said scheme?

The maximum and minimum loan amount would be in line with the extant Home Loan scheme of the Bank.However, subsidy shall be available for loan up to first 6 lakh

Whether the customers required submitting the claim for availing interest subsidy directly to MoHUPA / NHB?

Customers need not have to submit the claim neither to National Housing Bank (NHB) nor to Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA). IDBI Bank on behalf of the customers would submit the claim to NHB for availing the interest subsidy.

What is the maximum loan tenor offered under this scheme?

The maximum loan tenor is in line with the standard home loan schemes of the bank i.e. maximum 30 years for a salaried person.

Do banks across the country offer the credit linked subsidy?

Yes, all banks listed under the scheme offer the credit linked subsidy.  

PMAY – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a Government initiative with the aim of “Housing for All 2022”, launched on 25th June 2015 by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. PMAY is an effort to provide homes to the needy.

 

This scheme seeks to address the housing problem through the following broad programs

  • Slum rehabilitation
  • Provision of Credit – linked subsidy for the weaker section
  • Provision of affordable housing by collaborating with public and private sectors
  • Beneficiary-led house construction or enhancement

This mission of the scheme is to build 2 crore houses targeting all poor eligible families and beneficiaries across all states and union territories.

According to sources, slums or homeless populations are growing at 34% and are expected to reach 18 million in the near future. With the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), homes will be provided to nearly 20 million people.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Housing Scheme for All By 2022  

The aim of the program is to provide a home to nearly 20 million people belonging to the low-income families and underprivileged sections in the identified urban and semi – urban areas by 2022.

  • Building the houses led by beneficiaries

Objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)

  • The main objective of PMAY is to provide housing for all by 2022
  • It intends to provide houses to specific sections of the society such as economically challenged groups, women along with people belonging to minorities such as Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

To apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana read below:

  • Select the “citizen assessment” option
  • Enter Aadhaar Card Number
  • This will direct you to the application page
  • Download the application form and take a print out of the page
  • Submit the form at your nearest CSC office centers and financial institution/banks along with the required documents.

Documents Required for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

  1. Know Your Customer (KYC) Documents & Photograph for all applicants.
  2. Aadhaar is mandatory for all applicants.
  3. For Salaried: Salary slip or Certificate & updated bank statement
    For Self Employed: Income Tax Returns with other financial of last two years and bank statement.
  4. For identification as EWS or LIG beneficiary under the scheme, an individual loan applicant will submit self-certificate / affidavit as proof of income.

Beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)

  • A family that includes husband and wife along with children who are yet to be married
  • The beneficiary should not own a house to avail this scheme

  • The income requirement for economically weaker sections consists of families with a yearly income of less than 3 lakhs.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) – Gramin

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin, the Government has increased the overall number of housing units to be constructed by 1 crore under the PMAY – G.

The beneficiaries will be selected on the basis of The Socio Economic and Caste Census of 2011 (SECC 2011).

The Gramin Panchayats and Tehsils will be considered to contemplate on the beneficiary list to keep transparency and to ensure that the deserving receive the aid in housing.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) – Urban

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, the Government is aiming 2 million non – slum urban poor household to be covered under the Mission.

The scheme is coming into being during 2015 – 2022 and provides central assistance to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and other implementing agencies through states / UTs.
