Seeding Aadhaar with Bank of Baroda Account

 Bank of Baroda is the second largest Indian bank owned by the state founded on 20th July 1908 and is head-quartered in Vadodara, Gujarat,India. It offers banking products to meet the banking needs of individuals. It has a global network of a total 5326 bank-branches and over 8000 ATMs. It has been classified as a profit-making public sector institution.

Linking Aadhaar Card with Bank of Baroda Account

  1. Offline Method
    • visit the nearest Band of Baroda branch
    • Ask for application form to link aadhar card with Bank of Baroda account.
    • Fill this form accordingly and submit it to the counter.
    • Bank of Baroda officer may ask for the original document for verification purpose and will return it to you.
    • After verification they will provide lower portion receipt of
      form.
    • The bank will verify aadhaar card linking to bank later
      manually
    • Once the verification process is completed you will be
      notified via SMS or Email.
    • Documents Required
      • Original and photocopy of Aadhaar card.
      • Original and photocopy of Passbook.
  2. Online Method
    • Visit the official website of Bank of Baroda: www.bankofbaroda.com
    • Select the ‘retail user’ or ‘corporate user’ accordingly.
    • Login with your User ID and password.
    • Choose the ‘service’ tab.
    • Choose the option ‘Aadhaar Seeding’ under the ‘Service’ tab.
    • Fill your Aadhaar number and submit it.
    • Documents Required
      • 12 digit Aadhaar number.
      • Net banking details.
  3. Via SMS

Aadhaar can be linked to Bank of Baroda Account via SMS also.

  • Type UID (Space) <12 digit Aadhaar number> & send it to 5616150

IFSC Code of Bank of Baroda

An IFSC or Indian Finance System Code is an 11 digit alpha – numeric code used by the Reserve bank of India to identify all the bank branches within the National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT).

(a) First four characters identify the bank name i.e. BARB

(b) The fifth character is always 0

(c) And the last character represents the branch address i.e. MALVIY
