Punjab and Sind Bank

The Punjab and Sindh bank is 79.62% government owned. It was established by Sir Sunder Singh Mathija and Sardar Tarlochan in 1908. During 1980’s in the second wave of nationalization, the bank was nationalized. Today it has 1466 branches across India.
