The Finance Minister on Tuesday said that the Government has collected a GST of Rs 92, 150 Crore in September from about 42.91 Lakhs business.
The GST that is collected, comprises with Rs 14, 042 Crore on the account of Central GST, Rs 21,172 Crore on the account of the State GST and the Integrated GST Collections stood at Rs 48,948 Crore out of which Rs 23, 951 Crore was on the account of the imports along with Cess collection of Rs 7988 Crore.
The Earlier GST Collections on the Month of August and September was Rs 90,669 Crore and Rs 94,063 Crore. The GST Revenue seems to stay steady in the Month of September says the Finance Ministry. In a statement, the Ministry mentions that the GST Revenue paid under different heads up to 23rd October 2017 is Rs 92, 150 Crore.
The Cess Collection also made a mark of Rs 7998 Crore, out of which Rs 722 Crore makes the Cess Collection of the September Imports. About 42.91 Lakhs of Business Entities had filed the initial GSTR-3B Returns for the September making the GST Revenue Collections this month turned out. The GST which unites with other taxes also, including the excise duty and Service Tax has been rolled out from 1st of July.
