UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) which is responsible for managing governments flagship program Aadhaar has recently launched a self – service UIDAI Portal (SSUP) where the card holders can visit and update the information they wish to update. This service is extremely convenient as one does not require paying a visit to the enrolment centre in case of any error.

How to Update Mobile Number on SSUP

Follow the below mentioned steps to update mobile number on SSUP:

  1. Visit the official website of SSUP portal i.e. ssup.uidai.gov.in/update/
  2. Provide Aadhaar card number, insert text verification and click on send OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile number
  3. Then you will get to choose the information you want to update. Select mobile number and click on submit
  4. Verify mobile number and give your new number which you want to update and click on ‘submit request update

Once done you will receive a confirmation message that your update request has been sent. And after that you will receive a unique URN. Keep this number safely as with the help of this number you can check status of your update request.

How to Check the Status of Your Update Request on SSUP

Follow the below mentioned steps to check status of your update request on SSUP:

  1. Log in to the official site of SSUP i.e. ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home#/popup
  2. Look for ‘Update Status’ and click on it
  3. Enter your Aadhaar number and URN Number
  4. You can now see the status of your updated Aadhaar card

  1. Mobile number doesn’t appear only address comes .fix the problem .others I didn’t try .so don’t know .they also may be wrong ..adhar people must really work .just collecting Salary not enough
